Katy and Mat’s wedding day at Heaton House Farm was a truly remarkable event filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Nestled in Rushton Spencer, Macclesfield, Cheshire, Heaton House Farm is a stunning family-owned venue that seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern elegance. Surrounded by the picturesque countryside and breath-taking views of three counties, this working farm provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.
As their professional wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of getting to know Katy and Mat during their pre-wedding shoot and meeting. Their genuine love and joy were evident from the start, and I eagerly anticipated capturing their wedding day at Heaton House Farm.
We were fortunate to have beautiful blue skies on their wedding day, setting the stage for an amazing outdoor ceremony. Heaton House Farm is a highly-regarded venue in Cheshire, known for its friendly and helpful staff, as well as its incredible scenic views. I was also delighted to work alongside Dave from Rich TV, a highly recommended videographer who effortlessly captured the day’s events.
The day began with Katy’s bridal preparations, joined by her five bridesmaids, mother, and hair and makeup artists. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed as the ladies prepared for the day ahead. Katy’s stunning wedding dress and the bridesmaids’ pink dresses added a touch of elegance to the proceedings. Mat surprised Katy with a romantic message written on the bottom of one of her wedding shoes, showcasing the love they share.
After capturing some groom prep shots and candid moments of laughter with Mat and his three best men, it was time for the outdoor ceremony at Heaton House Farm. The open-air setting allowed for stunning images and unique angles, truly capturing the essence of their love.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed the beautiful gardens and breath-taking backdrops for photos. The picturesque hills and countryside surrounding Heaton House Farm provided a perfect setting for capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
The speeches were filled with laughter and heart-warming moments, with the best men entertaining everyone at Mat’s expense. The love and joy shared among family and friends created a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the day.
As the evening progressed, I was able to capture some incredible sunset and silhouette shots, further highlighting the beauty of Heaton House Farm. The celebrations continued with dancing, music, and a magical sparkler send-off, perfectly concluding my coverage of their unforgettable day.
