DJoely and Mikes Amazing Edgeley Park Wedding Day was full of unique and photogenic moments .

The ceremony was at the very photogenic St Mary’s Church right in the very middle of Stockport Town Centre and with a very public visit

to the old Stockport Market before going on to Edgeley Park which is the home of Stockport County footbal club and

there was more with a visitor in the park !!

Edgeley Park

Edgley Park is the home ground for Stockport County footbal club and now has some new and modern wedding suites .

The 1883 is our main lounge and one of the largest in the area, boasting a capacity of up to 800 guests for a seated event. Located on the ground floor with direct access from the car park, this lounge offers its own reception areas, ideal for arrival drinks. A unique feature of The 1883 is the world class integrated AV system that’s been newly installed, the room also holds two fully licenced bars and offers complimentary WIFI. This is the ideal facility for large conferencing events, sportsman’s dinners, weddings, exhibitions and much more. The 1883 can be split into two smaller rooms with the use of our sliding soundproof partition wall. Facilities in each room then include one licensed bar, complimentary WIFI and a fully integrated AV system. Either room is ideal for conferences, gala dinners, weddings, presentations, team building days and private events.

I can also add they have friendly and helpful staff too.For Joely and Mikes wedding these images used about half the suite and there was lots of room .

Rick was absolutely amazing, he came up with the most brilliant ideas to help make magic moments on our day. The images he took even managed to go semi viral on local groups with the amazing unique things he took pictures of! Cannot rate him high enough! Amazing photographer! The Wedding Day

Joely and Mikes wedding day was awesome !

It was a bit like Stockport County meets Disney or may be that is the other way around .

Mike is a regular at Stockport County and Joely is a Lover of Disney , that is the correct way around .

I started with brides prep and with Joely , her sister and the usual high energy

brides prep with hair and make up and Joely had a new born daughter to look after

while her sister looked after her make up .

There was a bit of nervous excitement too.

Then I was off to St Mary’s church in the heart of Stockport and it is certainly is photogenic with many arches

inside and outside .

I met Mike his brother and the couples 2 sons which were full of smiles and laughes .

The church aisle was long so we had a big enterance for Joely who looked beautiful

with her dress and flowers and was escorted by her Dad to the top of the aisle

After a lovely service and confetti , I had noticed how close we were to the old Sockport indoor market.

It looked very old but full of character ,

This was certainly worth a visit , I always like something different and what a fabulous reception

Joely and Mike got as they recieved a round of aplause from Stockport shoppers in the cafe

having their tea and coffee . Everyone loves a wedding and we managed to capture images of the couple by

the fruit and veg stall before we left in their wedding car to a local park for 10 mins .

Then we had another special moment , a White cat !

The white cat appeared and went straight up to the beautiful couple .

I might also add Joely who loves Disney will know their are lots of white cats

in Disney films , and the fact it went up to the couple and seemed interested in them I found

photogenic .

We arrived at the new wedding suite at Edgeley Park and there were tables named after Disney films

and Disney decor at center peices on each table

and a wedding cake heavily themed with Stockport County all over the cake’s design

I then will make one personal note about Joely and Mike’s master of ceremonys

it was Mikes step father John Prior and I have known John a long long time from his days working

at Shrigley Hall . He was amazing and obviously knew the couple to help them so much on their wedding day .

Always pleased to meet John . And thank you John for your help !

We had some emotional speeches , well mikes mum certainly found her tissues !

After the wedding breakfast and speeches we had another moment which was special .

We went outside and next to the Stockport County Edgley Park Pitch at night time and Joely looked like a Disney princess !

We had the moon out [ not a blue moon no no no , that is another team ] and night lights on and Mike a big fan of the club sat in the seats with Joely

After the night shots it was time for the cake to be cut and lots and lots of dancing .

With Colin and the team from Manchester Disco Company proving the evening entertainment and music .

Then my coverage came to an end and it certainly was a great pleasure to help 2 really amazing

people on their special wedding day at Edgeley Park in Stockport .
