A two-photographer covered wedding day
My good friend Pete joined me as second shooter. Two photographers meant we could simultaneously capture Laura’s bridal prep and Jonny’s groom prep, both at The Pinewood on Wilmslow, then cover the ceremony and speeches from two angles.
The wall of crisps
I arrived to find two bridesmaids setting up an impressive wall of crisps — nobody was going hungry at this wedding. Laura and her four bridesmaids were busy with hair and makeup, while the couple’s adorable baby lay on the bed, completely oblivious to the hustle and bustle.
Emotional ceremony with Cheshire East registrars
The ceremony, officiated by Cheshire East registrars, began with an emotional entrance. Afterwards everyone stepped outside to enjoy the sunny April day.
Garden portraits with the deckchairs
The Pinewood’s gardens gave us excellent photo opportunities — the deckchairs added a unique and photogenic touch. We made sure to capture memorable moments with Laura and Jonny and all their guests.
Speeches with prop-filled best man
The speeches were a highlight — laughter and entertaining reactions throughout. The best man had an array of props and delivered an outstanding roast of Jonny.
Father-daughter dance and the evening
The evening continued with a heart-warming father-daughter dance, plenty of energy on the dance floor and a set of night images to round off the day.
