The Wedding Day
The wedding day started with bridal preparations at Andrea’s parents’ home in Liverpool, just a short distance from All Saints Church. Here, I met Andrea’s three charming bridesmaids and the couple’s adorable baby. The atmosphere was calm, filled with anticipation and excitement, as the hair and makeup artists worked their magic.
Afterward, I joined Marc and his groomsmen at the Childwall Abbey pub, conveniently located opposite All Saints Church. This historic 14th-century church provided a charming and photogenic backdrop for the ceremony, filled with character and history.
Once the ceremony concluded, we captured some memorable images at the church before the confetti toss. Then, it was time to journey to Mere Court Hotel for the reception. We were blessed with good weather, allowing us to take full advantage of the venue’s beautiful gardens for photographs. Andrea and Marc’s natural chemistry shone through in every shot, making it a pleasure to work with them.
During the reception, guests enjoyed mingling and celebrating with their loved ones, while I captured candid moments from a distance. This allowed Andrea and Marc to fully enjoy their wedding at Mere Court Hotel, surrounded by their family and friends. The venue dressing, expertly crafted by Perfect Weddings in Altrincham, added a touch of elegance and sophistication to the festivities.
The speeches were incredibly entertaining, with Marc’s best man delivering a well-researched and engaging performance that had everyone laughing. At times, I even struggled to keep my camera steady due to the hilarity!
Following the couple’s beautiful first dance, it was time for sparklers and night shots, adding an enchanting touch to the evening. As my photography coverage drew to a close, I felt truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of Andrea and Marc’s special wedding at Mere Court Hotel.
