I had the great pleasure of meeting , getting to know and photographing Rebecca and Tony’s wonderful wedding day.
I had already done their engagement shoot at Formby Beach where we captured many natural images , had lots of fun and talked about their wedding day .
I also had a pre meeting at The Grosvenor in Pulford and we discussed the images they wanted on their wedding day.
The Grosvenor has a lovely bridge over a lake and Japanese Gardens which make a great backdrop for wedding photography .
I arrived to find an excited Rebecca and bridal party , a beautiful dress and flowers , a hive of activity and some bunting saying Almost Married which I had never seen before .
I then caught up with Tony in the adjoining pub and the new Reception area and stairs which made a great backdrop for images with his Best man Steve and the 6 ushers or smartly dressed.
We had an emotional ceremony with plenty of tears , especially when Tony’s Mum did the reading half way through the ceremony.
After the ceremony I again got very lucky with the weather as we made full use The Bridge and Japanese gardens.
A highlight was certainly Tony in the Large Bath [ with all his clothes on , of course ! ] in their luxurious suite .
There was more emotion to capture in the speeches and The First Dance before ending the night with my favourite night images over the bridge.
It was a pleasure to help such a lovely couple on their special day
