Bridal prep with five bridesmaids
I met Lorna at bridal prep with her five bridesmaids — excited team, hair and makeup in full flow, beautiful dress. Then I met Vinny and his two best men for pictures in the grounds.
Lorna’s emotional first look
One of the day’s most emotional moments was Lorna meeting her dad for the first time in her wedding dress — hardly a dry eye in the room. The ceremony followed with lots of smiles.
Woodland reflections and lake portraits
After a few photos with the couple’s son Ollie, I took Lorna and Vinny for portraits in the woodland and gardens at Abbeywood — the reflection images with the low November sun are some of my favourites of the year. Group shots with the five bridesmaids were brilliant fun.
Night shots, sparklers and the glass-walled reception
Abbeywood’s main function room with all that glass is genuinely unique — the natural light through the wedding breakfast was beautiful, and the night shots with sparklers and the room lit up in the background made for unforgettable creative images.
