Pre-wedding shoot and planning

Lindsey and Will booked a pre-wedding shoot and we met for a planning session. By the wedding day they were relaxed and ready.

Bridal prep with a balcony view

I arrived to meet Lindsey, her bridesmaids and Mum in the spacious Cottons bridal prep room — complete with balcony. Lots of smiles, makeup and hair in full flow, a fab dress. Meanwhile, Will was with his younger brother and best man at the bar — where else should a groom be?

Verandah Suite ceremony

The Verandah Suite at Cottons (with its own private bar and friendly staff) was expertly decorated by Perfect Weddings of Altrincham. The ceremony was very emotional — Lindsey and Will are genuinely lovely people and you could feel how important the day was to them.

Photos in the spring sun

After the ceremony I used a photo spot I know well around Cottons for a summery-feel set of portraits. Then plenty of mingling and drinks — important for couples to spend time with their guests.

Speeches, dancing and night photography

The speeches were both heartfelt and very funny (and I’ve heard over 1,000 speeches by now). Fun dancing with a great band and some night photography wrapped up the day.
