Clair and Peter’s Bashal Barn Wedding Day .
The Bride Clair’s kind review.
We heard about Rick through a friend as Rick had photographed her son’s wedding. After viewing some of these photos and looking at his work online, we arranged to meet with him. After meeting Rick and viewing more of his work, it was an easy decision to use him for our own wedding.
Leading up to our wedding, Rick spent a lot of time researching and visiting our venues and he found a place that we could visit between the church and reception venue for beautiful shots. He looked at various routes and planned everything perfectly. We really didn’t expect Rick to go to the lengths that he did for us.
Rick was with us from 10am to 10pm on our wedding day and a lot of the time, we didn’t even know he was there. He was professional and friendly and captured natural and emotional images that far exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend the night shots as well, as they are stunning.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Rick.

The Day
Clair and Peters wedding day was at The Sacred Heart Church in Colne and Bashal Barn near Clitheroe in Lanacshire.
Firstly I would like to thank Gail who recommended my service to the Lovely Clair and Peter, I last year had provided wedding photography for her sons wedding day . Thank you Kindly Gail.
The Day started in Clitheroe with Clair’s Brides prepations with her Mum and 2 bridesmaids and a fantastic wedding dress !
And the make up , hair , and arrival of the bouquet .
The atmosphere was very calm , relaxed and happy .
I was then off to The Sacred Heart Church in Colne where Peter grew up and it had very beautiful interiors .
I met Peter the groom of the day , best man Pater and Father Peter !! And Peters family .
After a very nice ceremony it was time to go to Bashall Barn which I was really looking forward to , it is a farm in the middle of no where with lots of hills to make breathe taking backdrops which were great with the natural imagery and romantic images.
And after a photo stop at the Edisford Bridge near Clitheroe going over the river Ribble [ just a couple of miles away from Bashall Barn ] we arrived for photographs at Bashal Barn Farm and I met their friendly staff and the cows , well it is a Farm !
This was certainly a wedding where I managed to capture lots of natural and emotional images from brides prep up to 10pm .
The speeches were so funny , I might of been there to concentrate on my job but the Best Man was so funny .
Then something I have no observed before , a Gin Cabinet choices of Gin and Mixers for all the guests to choose and drink after the wedding breakfast , I notice this was very very popular. And the very large glasses also were popular !
With the first dance , band and some great night shots which featured the couples red theme with Bashall Barn Farm in the background it was time to go home .
And it was an absolute pleasure to help this very nice couple Clair and Peter on their Bashal Barn Farm wedding day .
