When I’m working at a venue like Quarry Bank Mill, I look first at the light — where the windows face, where the sun will sit during ceremony and portraits — and second at the spaces that lend themselves to natural moments. What I notice when I shoot here

Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire is the most preserved textile mills from the British Industrial Revolution and it is an incredible sight to say the least. You can take a guided tour of the Apprentice House and this is where poor children used to work in an attempt to support their families. Now however, the Mill has been transformed while still retaining its original history. There are stunning gardens and the valley retreat has joined on to the mill, making it the ideal location if you want to have a wedding that is also the home of some of the most interesting events to ever happen in the UK. The grounds are absolutely stunning and there is so much for you to see and do. The team who work at the mill are always happy to show you around and they are there to answer any questions that you might have about the venue. Of course, they would also be happy for you to have your wedding there and plenty of couples have done this in the past so you know you can count on them for help and advice.
