Photographing weddings at Stock Farm
Barn venues like Stock Farm are some of my favourites for natural-light wedding photography. The light through the timber frames and the surrounding fields gives a softer, warmer feel than you get inside a hotel function room. I look for the moments between the formal parts of the day — the quiet preparation, the family arrivals, the first look between the couple — and the outdoor options tend to be the highlight of the portraits. I plan around the light direction so the ceremony and the group photos both get the right exposure.
