Photographing weddings at Shrigley Hall Hotel

Hotel weddings give a photographer a lot to work with: dedicated bridal suites for preparations, multiple function spaces for ceremony and reception, and architectural features (lobbies, staircases, terraces) that single-room venues don’t offer. I plan around the light direction across the day — older hotels with chandeliers and warm interiors behave differently to modern hotels with large windows, and the timing for portraits shifts accordingly. I usually arrive during bridal prep and stay through past the first few evening dances.

What I notice when I shoot here

Shrigley Hall is located near Macclesfield and it is an outstanding Victorian country home. This venue recommends me to its customers and I have done lots of weddings at Shrigley hall for over 20 years . It has over 262 acres of land that lead up to the edge of the Peak District Park and this provides the perfect setting for anyone who is thinking about getting married there. It is also well known because it has 18 holes of golf and it overlooks the Cheshire Plain as well so you know you can go there to relax without any difficulty at all. The Hall has a 4 star rating and it has a total of 148 bedrooms as well. With a high-end restaurant also present, it really is no wonder why people continue to choose this venue for their dream wedding and it is a great place to go if you want a wedding that is complimented by all the natural scenery that this venue has to offer.

Of course, if you are on a budget then the hotel would be more than happy to meet your needs and they will always work with you to make sure that you are given a service that you know you can be proud of. They can also help you to plan the course of the events that are going to take place after the wedding ceremony as well so there really isn’t anything that they can’t or won’t do for you.
