Photographing weddings at Sandhole Oak Barn Farm

Barn venues like Sandhole Oak Barn Farm are some of my favourites for natural-light wedding photography. The light through the timber frames and the surrounding fields gives a softer, warmer feel than you get inside a hotel function room. I look for the moments between the formal parts of the day — the quiet preparation, the family arrivals, the first look between the couple — and the outdoor options tend to be the highlight of the portraits. I plan around the light direction so the ceremony and the group photos both get the right exposure.

What I notice when I shoot here

If you want to have your special day in a venue that will give you the experience you have always dreamed of then the Sandhole Oak Barn is certainly the place to be. I have photographed many weddings here since 2006 when it started doing weddings ,it is a very photogenic venue . The barn is next to a lake and they have over 400 acres of countryside. It is located in Cheshire and this alone provides the perfect setting for you and your special day. One thing you should know about this venue is that it is designed for weddings in mind. It was completed in the year 2005 and ever since then it has been family run and operated. They have a clock tower and the countryside views alone are enough for you to get some absolutely stunning photos that will help you to remember your special day the way you want it to be.

I have worked with the staff at this venue many times before and I have also helped many different couples to have the wedding day of their dreams. The staff who work at the venue are very friendly and polite and they are always happy to work with you . When the day of your wedding comes, this comes in very useful. Of course, I have also taken plenty of photos of the venue and the events that have followed and you can see all of these on the site. These photos will give you a good idea of what Sandhole Oak Barn has to offer as well as showing you the various theme and features it has as well so you know you can feel entirely confident about your special day.
