Photographing weddings at Rivington Hall Barn
Barn venues like Rivington Hall Barn are some of my favourites for natural-light wedding photography. The light through the timber frames and the surrounding fields gives a softer, warmer feel than you get inside a hotel function room. I look for the moments between the formal parts of the day — the quiet preparation, the family arrivals, the first look between the couple — and the outdoor options tend to be the highlight of the portraits. I plan around the light direction so the ceremony and the group photos both get the right exposure.

No other wedding or events will be held in the Barn on the same day – so you’ll have their undivided attention, ensuring you will have a day you’ll never forget.
