Foxtail Barns is a barn/farm wedding venue in Staffordshire. Barn weddings have grown enormously in popularity over the last decade because they pair rustic character — timber frames, exposed brick, big open ceremony spaces — with the flexibility of outdoor options and the natural light that comes with rural settings.

Photographing weddings at Foxtail Barns

Barn venues like Foxtail Barns are some of my favourites for natural-light wedding photography. The light through the timber frames and the surrounding fields gives a softer, warmer feel than you get inside a hotel function room. I look for the moments between the formal parts of the day — the quiet preparation, the family arrivals, the first look between the couple — and the outdoor options tend to be the highlight of the portraits. I plan around the light direction so the ceremony and the group photos both get the right exposure.

Amazing grounds for photos with a lake , bridge and a pagoda

Ceratainly a very photogenic weddding venue with lovely staff to help you on your wedding day .
