Like many of Greater Manchester’s historic halls, it combines period architecture with grounds and gardens that work well for outdoor photography across the seasons. The hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and runs weddings throughout the year.

Country-house venues like Didsbury House give a wedding photographer the contrast that makes images sing — high-ceilinged interiors with large windows for natural light during the day, and gardens or parkland for portraits and group shots when the weather plays along. It has influences from all around the world and the fashionable suburb is really not to be missed. The urban village is just 15 minutes drive away and it is only 4 miles away from Manchester City Centre. You will also find that it is a very short drive way from the Manchester Airport as well so if you are travelling from out of the area then you know that you won’t have to travel far at all. It is very accessible from the M60 and it is far enough away from the traffic for you to feel completely at ease when you are having your special day.
It has over 27 bedrooms and there is a resident’s bar as well. The lounges reflect the eclectic design and it is a great retreat for leisure and business. It is also a prime venue for those who want to have their wedding there as well. The grounds and outdoor area is very luxurious and it is great for those who want to have everything they need and in one convenient location.
So as you can see, the Didsbury house has everything you need and you don’t need to make any compromises either. It offers the height of luxury and you would be surprised at how nice the staff members are as well. If you want to see what they can do for you then all you have to do is give them a call.
