Rebecca and Tony’s Fun Engagement shoot at Formby Beach.
I met Rebecca and Tony at a Wedding fayre earlier this year and after they viewed my wedding books and talked to me they booked me for their big day next year.
After booking me Rebecca contacted me for her engagement shoot she really wanted an image for her save the date card and she had a good idea. When I realised where they both lived I suggested Formby Point and the Red Squirrel park. My younger brother and his family have lived in Formby since about 1997 and I had taken many photographs there over the years when I had visited him. Sadly due to squirrel pox the Red Squirrels at Formby Point have heavily reduced in numbers so we saw none of them.
But after a brief shoot in the woods we spent a really fun time on the beach instead. This shoot I can honestly say was one of the most fun I have had. I even went into the sea over knee high with my camera. It was a warm evening so it was all the more easier to capture images that Rebecca and Tony wanted.
Rebecca and Tony after some silhouette images on our walk on to the beach were both brilliant and I captured them both just have fun walking and running into the sea at Sunset.
After this Rebecca had an idea to write the date of their wedding day next year in the sand and I captured some images from the high sand dunes on the beach. After capturing images of the moon as it became night time we walked together off the beach talking about their wedding day.
