About Hyde Bank Farm — a Grade II listed barn wedding venue in Romiley, Stockport

Hyde Bank Farm in Romiley, Stockport is a Grade II listed sandstone barn dating back to 1655 (once home to Anne Hyde, who married James II). Family-run by the Blackhurst family — exclusive-use, one wedding per day, the Goyt Valley as backdrop.

Bridal prep in Heald Green

Travelled all of a mile from my house in Heald Green to the bride’s home in Heald Green — six bridesmaids, makeup and hair in full flow, happy relaxed atmosphere.

Hyde Bank Farm ceremony in the heatwave

Off to Hyde Bank Farm to meet Jamie and the lads. The ceremony room looked amazing with an arch at the top of the aisle and lovely flowers. Lovely happy ceremony.

Couple portraits and the red tractor

Hyde Bank Farm’s photogenic areas — the Goyt Valley backdrop and the famous red tractor — gave us a brilliant variety of natural couple portraits. With the group images done, plenty of time for Tamsyn and Jamie to enjoy the day with their family and friends.

Magician, speeches and creative night shots

The reception had a fantastic magician (guests loved it). The speeches were properly funny. For night images we used smoke and sparklers — Tamsyn and Jamie were genuinely up for creative ideas.
