Sophie and Matt’s Beautiful wedding day at Bramhall Hall
Sophie and Matt’s Beautiful wedding day at Bramhall Hall was a really lovely family wedding at a venue full of history .
I have done many weddings at Bamhall Hall and I am always impressed with the architecture and pure class of this building
it certainly is a superb choice for a wedding .
A Brief History
Bramall Hall is a Tudor manor house in Bramhall with the distinctive Black and White feel , Stockport England. Its oldest parts date from the 14th century, with additions from the 16th and 19th centuries. .
The house functions as a museum and its 70 acres of parkland (Bramhall Park) are open to the public.
With Duck ponds cafe and many walks .
The manor of Bramall was first described in the Domesday Book in 1086, when it was held by the Massey family. From the late 14th century, it was owned by the Davenports, who built the present house and remained lords of the manor for about 500 years. In 1877, they sold the estate of nearly 2,000 acres (810 ha) to the Manchester Freeholders’ Company, a property company formed to exploit the estate’s potential for residential building development.
In 1925, it was purchased by John Davies and then, in 1935, by Hazel Grove and Bramhall Council. Following a reorganisation in 1974, Bramall Hall is now owned by Stockport Concil ,
For me it is very photogenic and a great choice for wedding photography.
The Brides kind google review . Five Stars .
If you are looking for a wedding photographer who will put you at ease, fit in around your plans and deliver fantastic photos, then Rick is your man.
As neither of us are fans of being in front of a camera, Rick suggested a pre wedding photo shoot which helped us feel more comfortable and enabled
him to understand what we wanted from our day. On the day he was with us from the morning preparations through to the first few dances
and our only problem has been narrowing down the photos for our album from such a great selection.
Rick comes highly recommended by us. by Sophie

I certainly had the great pleasure of meeting and helping Sophie and Matt on their beautiful red and sunflower themed wedding day
I met the couple at the pre shoot and pre meeting and knew ths was going to be a really lovely wedding day and mostly we were lucky with the weather
which was good as Bramhall park has so much to offer.
I started with brides prep and met Sophie and her bridesmaids , including her twin sisters and her sister living in Austrailia .
After brides prep it was off to Bramhall Hall and to meet Matt and the best man.
I also viewed to awesome interior of Bramhall Hall and then it was time for Sophie’s arrival in a white wedding cab and her 5 bridesmaids in red !
And a short cut wedding dress from Forever Yours in Marple .
The ceremony conducted also by a lady called Sophie from Stockport registration was there to provide a lovely and friendly ceremony .
It was in a old historic ceremony room and then time for the photos.
With amazing grounds for photos and Bramhall Hall providing a epic background to the wedding images .
There is a great natural vibe in the beautiful walks at Bramhall Hall , the couple got to spend plenty of time together
walking and talking .
There was plenty of time for miggling with the guests and after the wedding day breakfast to much anticipated Speeches .
Dj Pete Deane arrived to provide fabulous evening entertainment and the first dance music .
My coverage then came an end on an amazing wedding day at Bramhall Hall
