Rob And Sam’s Amazing Mere Court Hotel Wedding Day
Rob And Sam’s Amazing Mere Court Hotel Wedding Day was an absolute pleasure to work from start to finish .
I was lucky enough to meet these two lovely men who certainly loved each other and they booked
Mere Court Hotel for their special wedding day which is certainly one of the best venues for
weddings in Cheshire.
A Brief History of Mere Court Hotel
Mere Court Hotel Originally built in 1903 as a wedding gift for the marriage of William Dnkerley and Amy Costance.
In fact a suite for civil ceremonys today is called The Dunkerley Suite .
It is a grade 2 listed building.
The Dunkerleys had four children and lived there until 1955.
Then it was purchased by North West Gas.
Then in 1998 the property was purchases by mr and mres Hampson and they converted it to Mere Court Hotel with 7 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens,
Then in 2003 the Chawla family purchaesed the Hotel and built in 2003 The Conservatory where wedding ceremonies and wedding breakfasts take place.
In Fact at Mere Court you can get married outside at the Pagoda , Dunkerley suite , The Conservatory or The Auborium .
Therefore a great choice of very different spots for your wedding day ceremony .
I am also lucky to of been a recomended profresional wedding photographer at Mere Court Hotel for over 15 years .
A very photogenic Venue
The Grooms google kind words.
Rick is a great photographer and we are so pleased that we chose him to take pictures of our special day!
From start to finish, I could not fault a thing. The engagement photoshoot was useful as it helped us get to know him better and the meeting we had a few weeks before the wedding day was really good as it helped us all get our head around how the day would go. He also came up with some inventive and creative ideas that we decided to do on the day.
On the wedding day itself, Rick got lots of amazing shots and a number of guests have commented on how friendly and professional he was. We have received the official photographs back from Rick and there are so many good ones to choose from – I can’t wait to share them with everyone! I would 100% recommend Rick for your special day. by Rob .

The Wedding Day
Having met Rob and Sam at their pre wedding shoot and pre meeting I was looking forward to helping them.
They were such great people and we also enjoyed talking together.
My day started with Groom’s prep at the amazing Mere Court Hotel near Knutsford .
Both lads got ready with their familys .
The two Grooms had 2 fine suits and 9 flowergirls dressed in their them of Dark Blue with a bit of red
Luckily we had dry weather in Autumn and reasonable tempratures .
Rob went first up the aisle in the Conservatory for the civil cermony
Then Sam , both were escorted by their very lovely Mums to meet each other at the top of the aisle .
The civil ceremony by Your ceremony in East cheshire was conducted in a lovely and relaxed way .
Sam and Rob said their personal and unique vows to each other in front of all their guests.
Then when legally married they left the Conservatory as husband and husband .
It was a emotional day and Sam needed a moment after the ceremony was over .
I was so pleased for them as they were so happy .
We had confetti , photos and lots of miggling with their guests .
There were specches by Dad s , the best man all 6 foot 8 of him .
and also Sam and Rob did their speeches too .
After the speeches we had sparklers and some creative night images .
And then Adam arrived from Ice Entetainment as the DJ for the night .
There was certainly lots and lots of dance action and a sense of real fun at this amazing wedding day.
It was then time to finish my coverage for Sam and Rob at Mere Court Hotel .
