Pre-wedding shoot and the April blue sky

We’d done the pre-wedding shoot together, and on the day the weather rewarded everyone — blue sky and proper April sun.

Bridal prep with the page boys and flower girl

I arrived to a real buzz at Rhianna’s bridal prep — makeup by Frankie, hair by Gemma, the bridesmaids, her Mum and Dad, the page boys and a flower girl. I love photographing kids at weddings — they make the natural images that everyone remembers. When makeup and hair finished there was the emotional moment of Dad coming down the stairs to see Rhianna for the first time in her dress.

Ceremony and Stock Farm Barn reception

The ceremony, couple portraits in the gardens, and reception in the huge Stock Farm Barn all flowed. The barn fits 280 comfortably and the gardens here are great for couple portraits with the Cheshire countryside as backdrop.

Speeches and the evening

The wedding breakfast and speeches were brilliant, and the evening dance floor turned out for a brilliant Cheshire wedding day.
