It was full of laughter and emotion and excitement from brides prep to well past the first dance .
About Merrydale Manor as a wedding venue
Merrydale Manor is a country-house wedding venue in Cheshire. Like many of Cheshire’s historic halls, it combines period architecture with grounds and gardens that work well for outdoor photography across the seasons.
The hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and runs weddings throughout the year.
Photographing weddings at Merrydale Manor
Country-house venues like Merrydale Manor give a wedding photographer the contrast that makes images sing — high-ceilinged interiors with large windows for natural light during the day, and gardens or parkland for portraits and group shots when the weather plays along. I work documentary-style, blending into the background so guests forget the camera, and the staff at venues like this are typically well practised at running a day smoothly. If the weather turns, there’s almost always somewhere indoors that’s equally photogenic.

Merrydale Manor is an amazing wedding venue which you will find in the heart of Cheshire near knustford in over peover .
I have done lots of wedding photography here and it has many brilliant wedding photography spots It has a purpose built building for civil ceremonies and rooms to stay and a fabulous wedding suite .
Merrydale Manor is owned by the Irlam family
It is an exclusive venue so you will not see anyone at the venue on your wedding day but your guests on the day .
They have a make up area for the ladies
and a cave with games in for the men .
This is one of the most photogenic and luxury venues in Cheshire .
I have worked here several times recently and it is a very photogenic venue in Cheshire .

The Wedding Day
I met Rachael for brides prep at Merrydale Manor and it is certainly one of the very best for brides prep , spacious , luxury , lots of mirrors .
There was a real atmosphere of excitement from Rachael and her bridesmaids .
Make up and hair in full flow as i also went between Rachael and the grooms den where i found John and the lads
Darts and pool and the odd drink. well it is a wedding !
One of the biggest moments at Merrydale is the brides reveal and walking down the amazing staircase which Rachael did to meet her mum and bridesmaids .
Your ceremony did the civil ceremony in their normal friendly , relaxed , professional and personal style .
there was lots of smiles from the fab couple and then we had the confetti train and photos .
The best photo spot for me is the jetty and we went for some fun and romantic shots on the jetty at Merrydale manor .
And also a big thank you to Dave from Rich Video who did a great job with the Drone .
High up in the sky and capturing some amazing angles of confetti and the jetty .
Aft the swing and group shots it was time for Rcahael and John to enjoy time with the guests and a drink or three .
It was a lovely day with warm temperatures and blue sky .
There was a wedding breakfast and lots of speeches
All the speeches were Great and funny !
And sometimes embarrassing
after speeches i did night shots , i really enjoy night shots , a chance to be creative and have some fun in the photography.
Then the first dance and lots of fun dancing another element i Love capturing .
I am in no rush to go home i just Love capturing the fun and atmosphere and Rachael and Johns awesome wedding day was no different .
After many dances, sparklers it was time for me to finish mt coverage .
