Michelle and Mat’s Wedding day at St Catherines church in Heald Green and Pinewood Hotel on Wilmslow was such a very happy occasion.
And just after all covid 19 restrictions had ended . Eventually !!
Thank God !!
It was difficult for so many couples and the wedding industry but Michelle and Mat got there and I was so happy for them !!
It was a pleasure to meet them and to help them .

Wedding Day 31st July 2021
Planning a wedding at any time can often be a stressful process but then, throw COVID in to the mix and that stress is amplified We had three wedding date changes due to lockdowns, rules changes etc. But fortunately for us our photographer Rick Dell didn’t add to the stress, he went out of his way to be accommodating with the date changes we had to make and was adept at communicating with us throughout the whole unprecedented period – one of the many reasons that we chose him!
We initially were recommended Rick, by several friends and colleagues who had used him as their wedding photographer and he certainly came through! Right from the moment we met him we were put immediately at ease – looking at his previous work in his studio filled us with even more confidence that he was the right photographer for us. He discussed with us the types of shots we would like and advised us with what shots would work well as he had an extensive knowledge of our venue.
When the day of the wedding arrived, Rick fitted seamlessly into the day, not only making sure that we had the pictures that we requested but he also took a mirade of images of our special day thats were so natural and candid – this was exactly what we wanted. He captured the humour and joy of our day perfectly! Each image we have is an absolute accurate reminder of the day – which we will treasure and re-visit for ever! I would highly recommend Rick Dell!

The Day
Well above speaks for many couples and how I felt
Weddings being postponed due to government laws and after moving the date
Michelle and Mat got lucky with a very sunny day and also booked 2 great venues to look after them on the day . St Catherines and The Pinewood on Wilmslow .
And a family wedding with their kids and friends .
I have done many wedding at The Pinewood just 2 miles away from my house and with a lovely back garden for weddings and wedding photos .
Brides prep was at Michelle’s parents and I honestly could of walked there it was so close and the Church in Heald Green called st Catherines in fact I did walk to the church and so did the bridesmaids , well it made for great photos and I am all in favour of fun wedding images !
After the hair and make up which even Michelle’s dad had a turn in the chair for some enhancements it was off to the church and I met Mat and his groomsmen and family
The ceremony had a few humours moments and I could see a lot of happiness from all the guests as it was a sunny summers day , restrictions gone and again we were all allowed to enjoy a wedding and Michelle and Mat’s special day .
The Pinewood team welcomed the couple warmly with a drink and we took advantage of their garden for wedding photos and the kids played lots of games .
I have to also mention through out the day I was lucky again to work with with a friend called Mark from Marlyn Picture s https://marlynpictures.co.uk/ He is to be highly recomended and has great wedding experience and very experienced .
The room looked well decorated .
We had emotional speeches with fun , smiles and a couple of moments for Mat in his speech .
Again so pleased they got their wedding day .
And then the couple danced the night away .
