The Wedding Day at Moddershal Oaks Spa Retreat near Stoke On Trent in Staffordshire.
Lois and Louise’s fab wedding day was at Moddershal Oaks Spa Retreat near Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire.
Well it was a damp february but this still did not stop our determind effort to gain good wedding images on this really happy wedding day , in fact the rain added to some of the images below and the natural feel to these images .
I first turned up to meet and chat to both of the ladies on their wedding day while they were involved with decorating the venue room with a Harry Potter theme , with scarfes and characters from the films on the tables, a really multi coloured ceremony room with the chairs in different colours. The curtains in the main suite had fairy lights , the cake in black had flower great decoration .
The venue with its moving main suite walls , Picturesque outdoor lake , spa , friendly staff and walks was made for weddings in my view.
The day began relexed with make up and hair and guests arriving . Both Brides decided to wear suites and walk to the ceremony room together. There was lots of excitement !
The ceremony was emotional especially for family watching in the background , I have to admit again and again how lucky I am in my job to meet so many really lovely and happy couples , I am privaleged and this was certainly one of those wedding days.
After the ceremony we were all treated to Sophia the Saxophonist, https://www.sophiasax.com/ who is brilliant and certainly adds atmosphere to your wedding. She gets very involved on the dancefloor in the evening , highly recommend .
We did get out there to gain those important pictures and I have to thank Lois and Louise for just getting on with it and baveing the weather again like they did on their pre wedding shoot. But we did gain some images of Lois and Louise and how happy they are .
After the photos and lots of time for the couple to socialise it was time for the speeches and they were all good , both Mums did a speech and they were heartfelt and well thought out .
Later on we had more photos and dancing and Sophia on Sax.
It certainly was a great pleasure to help Lois and Louise on their wedding day at Moddershall Oaks Country Spa Retreat near Stoke on Trent .
