Lisa and James’s wedding day at The Three Horseshoes Country Inn wedding near Leek and St James Church was amazing.
I met Lisa and their 3 young children at the brides house , make up being done and a busy house.
Thankfully we were in the middle of the 2018 heat wave, and I wish we had one every year like 2018 .
Then after a few images there it was time for the church , a happy groom arriving with his Best Man and a Mini then time for some groom nerves at the top of the aisle .
After the cermony it was time for The Roaches , a series of rocks up in the hills between Leek and Buxton.
This was why the great English summer weather was needed and we got it !!
We arrived to breath-taking views of Staffordshire and beyond .
It was one of the most photogenic spots I have captured in my 22 years as a professional wedding photographer.
What a view!
And Lisa had a beautiful dress.
It was then time to go to The Three Horseshoes Country Inn just outside Leek .
With more views , those important group images that the couple wanted .
I then captured even more candidly their wedding breakfast a magician , some very funny speeches and lots of dancing.
Then some night images with some lovely light just before dark with the hills in the background.
It truly was great to help such a very happy couple on their special day
