Rick took our photos for our wedding in August and we are stunned with the quality of his shots.
From the moment we booked Rick he instantly made us feel at ease.
The months leading up to our wedding we had meetings and also an engagement shoot, all very personalized as he went through and wrote lists of any particular photos we wanted.
On the day Rick knew both the venue and the church very well and everything went very smoothly from start to finish.
We’ve recently picked our soft copies of the photos up and we now have the difficult task of choosing which of the amazing shots we would like in our album!
If you want a 5 star photographer then you’ve come to the right Man!

Rick was the photographer for my daughters recent wedding & I cannot recommend him highly enough. His professionalism, down to earth manner & genuine nice guy made even those who hate their photographs being taken feel totally at ease. The array of shots, from groups, couples, kids, natural etc is astounding. The whole day has been captured like I have never seen before, how they are going to choose the ones to put in an album I don’t know. Thank you so much xx
The Story of the day.
Lauren and Toms wedding day at Holy Angels Church and Mere Court Hotel started with brides prep at Mere Court Hotel in Cheshire. With a happy and excited bride Laurn with lots of personality [ she looked like she was having a blast all day !! ] and lots of Bridesmaids, lots of Bucks Fizz and lots of fun . Also great make up by Danielle and Sam Horan .
Then it was off to the Church to meet Tom coming off one of those old red Double Decker buses .
And I met up with Mark from Marlyn Video who I can highly recommend as he has produced fantastic movies at weddings for over 20 years and he is a great guy.
Then Lauren arrived with her mum in a Horgans car [ a brilliant and very reliable car company ] ,in her stunning dress and lovely veil , after a lovely service at the church and the excitement of the confetti it was time to leave to Mere Court which has stunning grounds for wedding photography. After lots of fun , relaxed natural wedding images of the couple at a venue that highly recommends me and their choice of group shots it was time to see the very beautifully decorated Conservatory done by Perfect Weddings . The room looked simply superb .
Then I captured some of those natural images , emotional images , images that guests and the couple don’t even know I have even taken.
This was certainly a wedding for those natural spontaneous moments
The images that capture the natural flavor of the day , including images of guests enjoying the different flavors of ice cream .
The mother of the bride s speech was one of the best I have ever heard , it was a 10 / 15 minute poem full of humor and personality , very well thought out and delivered brilliantly, certainly one of the highlights of this very memorable wedding day.In fact all the speeches and humor were great everyone including me laughed so much ! The Bridesmaids joke about a garden gnome another highlight.
The dancing was fun with great DJ Tom Finkill in the evening and a awesome saxophonist , a very fun moment at the throwing of the bouquet , also and i did some night shots as well to finish my coverage.
It was a great pleasure to help Lauren and Tom on their amazing Mere Court Hotel wedding day.
And Finally a big Thank you to Peter Chapman who was a 2nd shooter on the day, great friend and a good young photographer.
