A Fun, Sunset and Silhouette Engagement shoot .
This was one of my favourite Engagement shoots at Crosby Beach with a brilliant couple , Katie and Asa.
This is where the spectacular sculptures by Antony Gormley are on Crosby beach. Another Place consists of 100 cast-iron, life-size figures spread out along three kilometres of the foreshore, stretching almost one kilometre out to sea.
We spent over an hour walking up and down this beach talking about their Wedding Day at Statham Lodge which was soon coming up and also an amazing wedding venue .
Also I will be blogging this very very soon.
We had fun in the sea with the sun dropping over the horizon and with the statues dotted all around the beach.
My luck with the weather also continued as we had blue sky and no rain and temperatures more than good enough for Katie and Asa to run into the sea, and create some really fun and romantic images.
Engagement sittings like this one really help me get to know quickly the couple and them to get to know me.
I found out about Asa’s love of certain cars which will feature in their wedding blog and that they were going to have an outside wedding at Statham Lodge [ weather dependent ] which was an exciting prospect.
It was a truly memorable fun engagement shoot.
