Heaton house Farm
Mick, Margaret, and their daughter Sarah Heath – have owned Heaton House Farm for seven generations.
They took the decision to host their first wedding at Heaton house farm almost 25 years ago, .
Family owned and operated, and with our extended family of exceptional staff,
I have worked a lot recently with their team and they are all friendly , helpful staff that add to the wedding day .
A working farm for almost 200 years, it was 1999 when they did the very first wedding.
On the border of Cheshire and Staffordshire, in Rushton Spencer surrounded by pictuesque and photogenic hills and stunning views across three counties. Manchester is the closest city, and Macclesfield the nearest town
There is a purpose built brides prep area ceremony room and in summer there are weddings outside , a seperate room for your wedding breakfast .
Heaton House also has many rooms for your to stay .
But it is literally in the middle of now where it is exclusive and a wedding specialist .
With gardens for photos and great views every where you turm .
Superb for photography.
The wedding Day
Katie and Nick’s Amazing wedding day at Heaton House Farm started with brides prep. at The Hen house .
The wedding day was in october , a dry day but a cold day up in the hills .
Having met Katie and Nick I was really looking forward to helping them and capturing their day from brides prep to past the first dance
Naturally captured with some creative photography and posing .
I also had the my friend Dave from Rich Video in attendance for the day .
An experienced videographer capturing everything you want naturally , then edited superbly !
The ceremony was really lovely and heartfelt , and I did notice some emotion from Nick at the top of the aisle as Katie walked up the aisle with her
beautiful dress , flowers and of course her Dad
After the ceremony , there was the confetti train and a sharp very brief down pour
It started and then 30 seconds later stopped , i was pleased and never had such a short showere in over 20 years of wedding photography.
We went to the lovely gardens at Heaton House Farm with help from the lovely wedding co ordinator Anya .
Anya helped the wedding day run smoothly .
After photoas it was time for the real battle for a Husband versus his wife !
Putter Madness , put simply crazy golf .
I followed the match Katie v Nick in a indoor 9 hole course and there was a leader board at Heaton house Farm !
The couple were then intoduced into the room for the wedding breakfast by Anya
there was the sppeches which were funny and then night photos and sparklers .
Heaton house looks amazing with lights on at night time ..
And then there was entertainment with music from the group from The Midnight Cats .
The first dance then everyone joined in and the guitarist joined the guests and the dancefloor ,
what a great atmosphere !
It was a great fun wedding day at Heaton house Farm .
Thank you Katie and Nick and Congraulations to you both
Rick .
