Kate and Shauns Rookery Wedding
The Bride and Grooms view.
We would like to thank Rick for all of the beautiful pictures and memories that he captured of our wedding. We had the most fantastic day and now we have the incredible memories. From the moment that we met Rick at a wedding show we knew that we wanted to work with him. He was kind friendly and willing to listen to what we wanted, whilst advising us how to achieve the best results. We had a pre-wedding photo shoot which enabled us to get a feel of how Rick worked and allowed us to get used to the camera, which was an enjoyable experience. When it came to our special day we hardly noticed Rick as he was just in the background capturing fantastic natural pictures of the day. When we had the pre-organised set photographs he was professional, organised and in control of the situation. When we saw our photo album for the first time we were speechless, we knew the pictures Rick had taken were amazing but the way the album was executed just took our breath away and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much for everything and we would highly recommend Rick to anyone.
Kate and Shaun’s Valentine’s Wedding day at St Oswald’s Church in Worleston, and Rookery Hall near Nantwich in Cheshire was a brilliant wedding.
With lots of Heart decorations on Valentines Day and looking at these images fun all day long.
St Oswald’s Church was literally away from any village or town , built in 1874 and was both beautiful and photogenic for the ceremony .
Rookery Hall is one of the best venues in Cheshire for wedding photography.
I joined Kate at Rookery Hall where she was getting ready with her Mum and Bridesmaids and I just blended into the background capturing moments and just recording what was going on.
Dante the flower girl was already going to be one of the most cutest and easy to photograph flower girls I have seen in 18 years of Professional Wedding photography . During the group shots I captured laughing upside down .
After this I was able to capture some really fun images with Shaun and his Best Man , Ushers and very notably his Dad who had everyone laughing most of the day . As Shaun and his family were from Wales , the men loved their Rugby Union and we had fun with this at the Church .The church Aisle had one side with Welsh flags and one side with English Flags.
After the church ceremony which had different emotions before the ceremony [ a few nerves from Kate by the church door ] and the laughs and big smiles after the ceremony by the Lichgate as the couple talked and mingled with their friends and family we went to Rookery which is great inside and outside for Wedding photography.
After really funny speeches and emotional messages from family in other parts of the world it was time for some creative night shots before ending the day with some Dance images.
It was a pleasure to help Kate and Shaun on their Wedding day at Rookery Hall .
Please view there Wedding images and story of their day.
