Kasey And Alex’s Superb Mere Court Wedding Day.
Kasey and Alex were a lovely couple to meet and to get to know and they booked their wedding day at the very beautiful Mere court Hotel near knutsford in the heart of cheshire.
As a recomended wedding photographer for so long at Mere Court Hotel I was really looking forward to this wedding.
We had met at the pre wedding shoot and pre meeting to chat about their planned wedding day .
The photos as for most of my customers are natural as it actually happens and some creative posing .
From the dress laid out correctly to laughter in the speeches !
From Brides prep to past the first 4/5 dances in the evening !!
As I love my job I am in no rush to leave !

A Brief History of Mere Court Hotel
Mere Court Hotel Originally built in 1903 as a wedding gift for the marriage of William Dunkerley and Amy Costance.
How interesting today
In fact a suite for civil ceremonys today is called The Dunkerley Suite .
It is a grade 2 listed building.
The Dunkerleys had four children and lived there until 1955.
Then it was purchased by North West Gas.
Then in 1998 the property was purchases by mr and mrs Hampson and they converted it to Mere Court Hotel with 7 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens,
Then in 2003 the Chawla family purchaesed the Hotel and built in 2003 The Conservatory where wedding ceremonies and wedding breakfasts take place.
In Fact at Mere Court you can get married outside at the Pagoda outside with lovely gardens and a lake in the background , Dunkerley suite , The Conservatory or The Auborium .
Therefore a great choice of very different spots for your wedding day ceremony .
I am also lucky to of been a recomended profesional wedding photographer at Mere Court Hotel for over 15 years .
A very photogenic Venue
Kasey and Alex’s wedding day features the Auborium suite for the civel cermony with its beautiful bay window overlooking the lake and for the wedding breakfast The Conservatory
The Wedding day
Kasey and Alex’s wedding day at Mere Court Hotel started with blue skys which lasted all day , so pleased for them .
It was a day for Blue sky and big smiles !
Kasey like most brides booking Mere court started her day at The Lodge a small house with 2 bedrooms and a nice little back garden
spacious for brides with lots of bridesmaids.
After make up and hair shots I found Alex with the lads for photos
We had a realy beautiful ceremony by your ceremony [ Cheshire East registrars ]
And a famous guest called Patch , the couples dog a lovely friendly dog.
As a dog owner myself , I always like capturing images of the couple with their dog and some dog portraits .
Patch was so well behaved !
Good dog Patch !!
He stayed behind Kasey and Alex during the ceremony , quietly looking on .
Then i was able to take advantage of the amazing grounds for photos at Mere Court hotel, we had lots of images from confetti to group images
And the couple enjoyed spending time together walking and catching up with each other talking .
I have to say the ceremony room which was The Auborium and The Conservatory was so well dressed by the talented Perfect weddings in Altrincham
and Alex and his Dad run a stationary company .
Well the table plan and all stationary at this wedding looks superb and matched their blue and pink colour theme.
The speeches were emotional with lots of great moments captured, laughs and tears all the way .
The humour was great and Best Man Loz I had met before at a friends wedding .
After the wedding breakfast we had night shots sparklers , and the couple had an early evening walk
I love these shots as Kasey on a warm evening had her fan with her that added to these images .
There was a first dance and lots of dancing as everyone joined in with great DJ Pete was in attandance from
Ice Entertaiment .
After night shots and dancing it was time for me to end my coverage at Mere court Hotel at Kasey and Alex’ s wedding day and was an awesome wedding it was.
Thank you Kasey and Alex for having me along . And Patch !
