Drove the long distance of 0.5 miles from my Heald Green house to the bride’s parents’ house in Heald Green. Met Jenna and the bridesmaids.

St John’s Catholic Church Chorlton — and Father Pat

Met Tom and the groomsmen at St John’s Catholic Church in Chorlton. Tom looked nervous; Jenna arrived in a white taxi in a beautiful dress. Father Pat has a brilliant sense of humour — he put everyone at ease. Touches of laughter through the ceremony.

Speeches, dancing and an unexpected rain image

Captured natural images through the day including very funny speeches. Night shots, dance shots, packed up — even said my goodbyes. Then looked outside and the heavens had opened. I spoke to Tom and Jenna; we grabbed a brolly and went outside. The rain image that came out of that 10-minute decision gained over 400 likes on Facebook — one of my most-shared wedding photographs.
