Bridal prep in Gatley with cheese crumpets

Started at Holly and Mat’s house in Gatley with bridal prep. Holly and Mat had booked Horgans wedding cars (highly recommended). The bridal-prep “cheese crumpets” tradition — a custom from her sister’s wedding — got captured too.

Bowdon Rooms ceremony in the rain

Heavy rain. Rain shots, umbrellas and people running for cover still make great natural wedding images. Holly’s determination during the ring exchange to put the wedding ring on her husband’s correct finger was a brilliant moment.

A puddle and a clearing sky

By luck the rain just stopped after the ceremony. Off with Horgans wedding cars to a photo spot I know — sun out, a puddle and a very loved-up couple for romantic, fun, natural images.

Vintage bunting and The Mojomatics live band

The unique Bowdon Rooms styling was perfect for Holly and Mat’s vintage feel — they’d made the bunting themselves. Dancing with live band The Mojomatics, plus some night shots, wrapped up a brilliant Cheshire wedding day.
