The Village Hotel in Cheadle is a friendly modern hotel wedding venue in Cheadle, Stockport — close to Manchester Airport and the M60. It’s the venue I’ve photographed at most often in my local area, with a great team that knows weddings inside out.

Bridal and grooms prep at The Village
Both Gemma and Logan had their prep at The Village in Cheadle. Gemma had a huge prep room with her bridesmaids — makeup, hair, and an emotional exchange of cards and gifts with Logan. There were further emotional moments when Logan received Gemma’s card on his wedding day.
The family-led ceremony
The ceremony, led by Stockport Registration Service, was a really lovely family wedding — Gemma and Logan had their children with them throughout, which is always a privilege to photograph. These reminders of why I love this job hit hardest at family-led weddings.
Confetti, couple portraits and the autumn colour theme
The autumn colour theme worked beautifully across the photography. The Village in Cheadle has plenty of spots I know well for couple and group photography — the gardens, the function suites, the entrance for arrivals.
Wedding breakfast, speeches and the evening
The wedding breakfast was full of laughter and a few emotional moments; the speeches landed perfectly. The evening reception turned into a brilliant party.
