Emma and Mat’s Owens House Farm Wedding Day
Emma and Mats Wedding Day at Owens House Farm in Mobberley was AMAZING!
Firstly a big thank you to Brides Brother Iain and his lovely wife Karen who recommended me to Emma and Mat to do their wedding photography.
I did Karen and Iain’s wedding over five years ago so thank you. I also met their two young children at the wedding also.
Emma and Mat were a lovely couple to help, having met them and done their pre wedding shoot in Macclesfield.
The venue they chose for their wedding day on Easter Sunday was Owens House Farm in Mobberley Cheshire, a relatively new wedding venue but a popular one with so many photogenic elements everywhere I turned.
As part of my job I always check out all venues in detail so I can professionally help each Couple. There was a lot to check out.
Having visited Owens House Farm and spent time talking to the staff I realised we would capture some great images and the venue was photogenic.
I started the day by arriving early to see the lovely decor in the room where Emma and Mat would have their wedding breakfast with the vintage bunting and table decor.
I then quickly started with my bride’s prep shots capturing natural images of what was excitingly going on with Emma, her Mum, niece and 3 bridesmaids.
There were some lovely backdrops to hang the very elegant dress, buts lots of smiling and happy atmosphere.
We were also lucky that we had no rain and a nice day.
I then found Mat and his brother who was also the best man and the ushers for a few shots.
The ceremony was lovely with a purpose built room , benches to sit on [ not chairs].
Highlight of the ceremony was the Brides determination during the exchange of wedding rings to eventually place the wedding ring on Mat’s correct finger. This certainly was a light moment with lots of laughs and smiles.
Then after the ceremony, Emma and Mat greeted their guests with more smiles and then it was time for photos.
The Barn was a favourite of mine and was a brilliant backdrop to the wedding photos.
We had group images and bubbles.
Then it was time for the Wedding Breakfast and the all important speeches.
Emma is a school head teacher and Mat a primary school deputy head teacher,
One of the funniest moments was at the beginning of the groom’s speech when he said “, good afternoon everyone ” then all the guests loudly said back “, good afternoon Mr Ransom “.
After the speeches, it was time for Fire and smoke and some WOW night images, including some black and white industrial images! Something different.
And then lots fun of Dancing with band Brothers In Arms.
It was a certainly a great pleasure to help Emma and Mat their Owens House Farm Wedding day.
Here are some of my favourite images of the epic day.
