Clare and Cathal’s Amazing Wedding Day was at St Albans Catholic Church in Macclesfield and Shrigley Hall near Macclesfield in Cheshire .
I was also looking forward to their day having met them both for their engagement shoot .
Shrigley Hall has amazing grounds for Wedding photography, one of the most famous staircases in Cheshire , a Lake, Golf Course and beautiful backdrops for wedding photography where ever you turn round.
Cathal is an Irish Man and the wedding theme was green with Bridesmaids dresses , groomsmens cravats and Shrigley Hall itself lite up green at nightime. Which was an awseome site, especially when you have a really lovely Couple to Photograph in front of the Hall like Clare and Cathal .
I Joined Clare and her Bridesmaids as they got ready at Shrigley Hall and captured the atmosphere of the day and Clare’s beautiful dress before finding Cathal with his best Man and Ushers in a nearby pub to the Church.
The Pub Stop certainly added to the fun of the day and a certain naturalness and spontaneus element to the day .
When Clare arrived at St Albans there was a lovely church ceremony held by Father Peter who was once my parish Priest and married my brother and sister in law, so it was good to meet him again.
Then it was back to Shrigley Hall with transport by the brilliant Horgans Wedding Cars . Horgans provide the best Car service, with superb cars and 1st Class Drivers , contact details below. Photographs were first including for the Golf Lover Cathal a trip to the Shigley Hall Golf Course .
Again this was fun especially since Clare’s putting was better than Cathal’s ! I have the images to prove this .
With the Golf and the Pool game in the pub earlier , I certainly dabbled with sports photography .

The speeches were hilarious , just really really funny and then everyone was treated to some excellant Irish Dancers , Clare and a very Funny Cathal also joined in with the dancers.
Everyone enjoyed this .
With some night shots, a sunset and more dancing my day and coverage came to an end , it certainly was a pleasure to help Clare and Cathal on their special day and great fun.
