Charlotte and Scott’s wedding day was at the aptly named Great John Street in Manchester . It is situated in Manchester City Centre with an open top roof with great views of Manchester. Unique !
I was booked by Charlotte and Scott on recommendation from their friends Laura and Craig whose wedding I did last year.
Thank you Laura and Craig and please keep up the very good work.
I travelled the very long distance of half a mile to Charlotte’s Parents house 1st in Heald Green to do Brides preparation images , meeting the bridesmaids which included Charlotte’s identical twin sister Danielle. At least they were in different dresses which was good for me as they do look very very very alike !
After a very relaxed and happy atmosphere with Charlotte and her family I was off and met Scott at Great John Street with all his ushers and some very hot and sunny weather.
Charlotte arrived with her Dad in a Beetle with a beautiful dress and some very well homemade flowers, [ they seriously looked very professional ] the ceremony had lots of smiles and laughs which just continued all day and all evening
After a miggle with the guests after the ceramony and a glass of champagne we went to Castlefield for lots of fun and relaxed photography.
The Bridges, Canal boats and urban feel made for interesting images .
One of my favorite spots for wedding photography is Castlefield . We had fun with Charlotte and Scotts close friends at castlefield reflections in the water and all on a sunny hot day in march .
After a mixture of urban , fun and romantic images at Castlefield we went back to the photogenic Great John Street.
Then it was back for the wedding breakfast and the very funny speaches .
The day ended with lots of drinks and dancing and a really good sunset and some night photography.
It certainly was a big pleasure to help Charlotte and Scott on their Great John Street Wedding day.
