Charlotte and Morgan’s Epic Halloween Wedding Day at Norton Priory Museum
Charlotte and Morgan’s Epic Halloween Wedding Day at Norton Priory Museum was simply one of the most
interesting and photogenic weddings I have had the pleasure to work and importantly for me allowed me to be very creative,
The Black theme with some orange really worked on a wedding that was on Halloween this year .
Also importantly Charlotte and Morgan were just lovely people to meet . Thank you Charlotte and Morgan .

A bit about Norton Priory museum .
Norton Priory was founded in 1134, and achieved mitred abbey status in 1391. Two key families have links to the site: the Dutton family and the Brooke family. The Duttons supported and engaged with Norton Priory as a
monastic site, up until the Dissolution in 1536. The Brooke family made Norton Priory their home between 1545 and 1921, when they left the site to move to a new home in Worcestershire.
Steeped in a 900 year history with gorgeous gardens and grounds, Norton Priory is a beautiful, historic and atmospheric wedding and reception venue in Runcorn, Cheshire.
With easy access for guests from across the North West cities of Liverpool, Manchester and Chester, Norton Priory is perfectly located,
With a range of beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to set the scene for your special day, you can be assured of a magic start to your own story. There are a variety of spaces available for wedding ceremonies including the Grade I listed
Medieval Undercroft, the Grade II listed Georgian Loggia, the Walled Garden Band Stand and contemporary Museum Atrium.
Wedding parties have access to stunning outdoor backdrops for photographs to remember, which include the excavated archaeological remains of the medieval monastic complex and acres of woodland. So unique
I have done many weddings here.
The Day
To say I was looking forward to this wedding on Halloween was a understatement and it was themed by Charlotte and Morgan to Halloween
as they love Halloween it is special to them both. They even Love like me the Halloween films !! Spooky !!
I met Charlotte at her parents house in Ellesmere Port where make up and hair was in full swing
and ther was a really happy vibe to the atmosphere during the brides prep and the whole wedding day.
I Photographed the black wedding dress and Morgan arrived dressed in Black , we had reveals to
the bridesmaids in orange and to Morgan .
Then it was time to go to Norton Priory Museum for the civil cermeony and then the celebrant
and then the wedding reception all at Norton Priory museum .
I met Rebecca the lovely and hard working manager and her team at the museum
There was first the civil ceremony with registrars from Runcorn .
And then the celebrant did a more informal ceremony with hand fastening and exchange of wedding rings
Them it was off for photos and to take full advantage of the amazing gardens and arches steeped with history
certanly very photogenic.
A venue that does not have to try to be photogenic , it just is !
Charlotte and Morgan were a very romantic couple and it was just brilliant to help them on their
wedding day .
We then had the speeches and wedding breakfast .
Some lovely heartfelt speeches by the two Dads,
And then evening guests arrived in a halloween costumes .
I met Blade !! Also many other amazing costumes and characters
it was a a massive party theme ! Just Wow !
And we had some fun dances as everyone enjoyed tCharlotte and morgans wedding day at
Norton Priory Museum .
We had night shots and sparklers before my wedding day coverage came to an end
Thank you and congratulations to Charlotte and Morgan on your
Halloween wedding day at Norton Priory Museum in Runcorn .
