Charlotte and Craig’s Wedding day was Amazing at the picturesque Mottram Hall in Chehire .
This is a venue i know so very very well i have done literally 100 weddings here since 1997 .
A bit about Mottram hall in cheshire near Macclesfield.
Mottram hall has 270 acres of Cheshire parkland, the Georgian country house Mottram Hall boasts a spa, leisure facilities and 2 restaurants. It is 5 miles from Manchester Airport, and has its own 18-hole championship course.
The Carrington Grill serves a fine menu, while the Cocktail Bar offers a relaxing environment.
with 120 bedrooms and a beautiful wedding suite recently re decorated called the Sat Andrew suite .
Built in 1721, the Mottram Hall retains many original features. All bedrooms feature fine quality Egyptian cotton linen, tea/coffee making facilities, free WiFi, and a Smart flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
Mottram Hall has free parking, with spaces for up to 300 cars. Guests can enjoy a variety of woodland and countryside walks are available nearby.
The Mottram estate dates back to 1310, when it was established by Adam de Mottram. It then passed to the Booth family in 1650, who lived in the timber framed Old Hall, which is now a private house that stands back from the main drive. In 1721 the family built a
Manor House on the estate, named Mottram Hall – the basis of the red brick mansion you see today. It moved into the Wright family in 1738, and remained a family home for them until 1914. It became a hotel in 1940.

The wedding day
Charlotte and Craig’s amazing wedding day at Mottram hall was in November , but we were lucky with the weather it was dry and a mild wedding day .
I started with brides prep at Mottram Hall and a purpose built room for Charlotte and the bidesmaids ,
There was make up and hair being done and lots of areas to hang the beautiful dresses and there was a lovely atmosphere .
There was shots and then i said hello to Craig and the boys.
The couple had gone for a black and white theme , bridesmaids in black dresses and the groom in black jacket and tie
It looked very classy !
There was a series of reveals , with Charlotte and the bridesmaids and then her Dad all very emotional .
The ceremony room was well dressed by Lasting memories and very well officiated by East Cheshire registrars
Pete the experienced toastmaster looked after everyone and helped the wedding day run very smoothly
We then took advantage of the amazing grounds for wedding photography at Mottram Hall , from its magnicent front to the lake at the back
Charlotte abnd Craig were a beautiful couple and a real pleasure to help on their special day .
I do love the gardens at Mottram Hall
And then the day moved on to the wedding breakfast in the St Andrews suite which had been recently redecorated and extended .
There were fun speeches including I think 3 best men
Then sparklers and night shots which were great fun .
I love creative night shots and they add a wow factor !
We had the first dance and then a DJ debut performance by Charlotte and then star wars competetive light sabre fight on the dance floor with Craig and the boys !
It was then time for me to finish my coverage for Charlotte and Craig on their amazing Mottram Hall wedding day.
