Alex and Phil’s Cottons Hotel and Spa Wedding Day
Having met Alex and Phil on their pre wedding shoot , I was left really looking forward to helping them on their day .
Cottons Hotel and Spa is a venue that has recomended me for many years and I have done so many weddings for their customers , I know the venue like the back of my hand which comes in very handy in all weathers and seasons .
Cottons Hotel and Spa is an excellant 4 star Hotel near Knutsford and Tatton park in cheshire, With brilliant bedrooms and a spa. Also nice and helpful staff.
It also has a new wedding photography area which is featured in Alex and Phil’s wedding photography,I started my day with brides prep with Aex and the bridesmaids , and the usual hive of busy excitement .
I have to say Alex’s Dress was beautiful and then I found Phil and the lads before the ceremony in the upstairs Verandah suite , the verandah suite with its divide can look full with60 to 70 or open it out and I have done weddings with over 130 there ,
Also I was working with ace venue dressers Perfect Weddings in Altrincham , can recommend Perfect weddings very highly.
After the emotional enterance of Dad and Mum seeing Alex in her dress it was time for an emotional enterance for Alex to meet her groom Phil at the top of the aisle .
And then some tears from Phil’s daughter also a bridesmaid with the reading.
After all this lovely emotion at the ceremony it was time for some photos at one of the spots I know , a walk in the fresh air and then to do those group shots that the couple wanted with important family .
There was plenty of miggleing and drinking time with friends and guests .
I have a meeting with all my wedding couples a few weeks before the big day and plan time and what the couple want
Some want lots of photos and to go some where to have lots of images and some just a few minutes and to have long social time , with me it is up to the couple.
I recommend a happy balance .
The speeches were very funny especially Phil’s brother who was also the best man speech, even I laughed he was a comic and it was heartfelt. Great job by all the speech makers .
We then made use of Cotton Hotel’s New photo area .
There was dancing and everyone joining in and the cake cutting before night shots .
Then it was time to leave with everything done and more.
It was a great pleasure to help such a happy , romantic and nice couple on their special day at Cottons Hotel and Spa.
